Agila Privacy Policy

Effective 3 September 2026.

Agila is an offline-first personal travel journal. It has no account, advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, social, location-tracking, or cloud-sync service.

Data on your device

Visits, memories, notes, selected cities or municipalities, preferences, and managed photo copies remain in Agila's app-owned storage. Agila uses Android's photo or file picker only when you choose a photo or backup. It does not request broad photo-library, camera, or location access.

Optional online guides

The core map and personal archive work offline. If you choose Load online guide, Agila sends the selected public place name to Wikipedia and may request credited image information from Wikimedia Commons. These services receive the requested page or image, your connection's IP address, and ordinary technical request information. Agila does not send your memory text, personal photos, visit dates, or archive database with these requests.

Exports and support

When you export or share a backup, JSON file, chapter, or image, the destination you select receives that item under its own privacy terms. If you contact DCF Dev, we receive the message and files you intentionally attach. Do not send passwords, unencrypted backups, private notes, or personal travel photos.

Your controls

You can edit or delete individual visits and memories, remove photos, or delete all Agila data in Settings. Uninstalling Agila removes its app-owned data unless you separately exported a backup.
